The Benefits Of Iodised Salt – Certain feeds (of the cabbage family, turnip and rape seed) contain goitrogens which interfere with the use of thyroxin and may produce goiter’s. Iodised salt is the most economical way of supplementing and relieving the occurrence of thyroid gland enlargement or goiter.
