Furneys Lucerne Chaff is sourced from local growers in the Macquarie Valley.  They maintain their stands for the single intention of cutting and bailing chaff quality lucerne. This lucerne is thin in stem and leafy. Our average protein is 18 – 22% year in year out. Furneys take both round and square bailed hay which is then steamed and cut with a cliff and bunting chaff cutter.
