Furneys Magnesium Block 27% is designed to assist in the control of grass tetany in sheep, cattle and goats. Grass tetany generally occurs within two weeks of livestock being put on Autumn or Spring pastures (young quick growth, referred to as watery pastures) Magnesium improves calcium and phosphorus metabolism in sheep, goats and cattle and has a sparing effect on Vitamin D and is an essential part of the bony skeleton.
