MOLYBDENUM BLOCK

Furneys Molybdenum Blocks are designed for use in pasture’s with a high copper content.

Molybdenum Intake – It is believed that molybdenum binds and inactivates copper in the intestine. A low molybdenum
intake causes excess copper, which may lead to fatal jaundice. By making molybdenum available this problem will be reduced. High molybdenum intake will induce a copper deficiency, characteristics are stringy wool, anemia, bone disorders and scouring.

Using A Salt Block – Using a salt block ensures minimal intake. Salt increases thirst and in most circumstances is a positive attractant.
